The Prime Minister inaugurates the Tulkarm power reduction station to solve the electricity crisis

Tulkarm | His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, Saturday, July 22, 2023, the 33/22 kV reduction station in Tulkarm and connecting it to the Sarra transformer station in Nablus, after the completion of the conveyor line project and the construction of the reduction station to enable Tulkarm to be supplied with electricity through it, in a ceremony attended by the Minister of Local Government, M. Magdi Al-Saleh, Head of the Energy and Natural Resources Authority, Eng. Dhafer Melhem, the Governor of Tulkarm Governorate, Major General Issam Abu Bakr, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Electricity Transmission Company, Dr. Imad Brik, members of the Council, and its General Director, Eng. Nashat Abu Bakr, and the mayor of Tulkarm, Dr. Riad Awad, the Prime Minister’s Office staff and advisors, and the CEO of the Electricity Sector Regulatory Council Eng. Hamdi Tahboub, and representatives of distribution companies, local authorities, security agencies, national forces, and the implementing company, “SATCO.”
